Ktima Kissa’s Assyrtiko plot is their toughest to farm: it is very rocky (Stournaropetra is the name of the flinty stone that dominates there) and steep. It is the last plot to be harvested, in the middle of October, and the extended ripening period adds an extra fruity dimension to the Assyrtiko’s characteristically mineral core. 
 Lemon-yellow in colour, powerfully aromatic with notes of lemon, lime, apricot, jasmine and honey. Rich and textured with intense grapefruit and preserved lemon, weighty and concentrated with fresh acidity and a lengthy finish.
