100% Moschofilero: this is a variety, rather like Pinot Gris, that has a pink skin and can therefore produce a rosé if allowed some skin-contact.  The block from which it comes is the steepest part of the Moschofilero vineyard and has a different aspect, allowing the variety to ripen more and generate more colour and aromas of riper fruit with a more floral rose nose which expresses all kinds of citrus fruits along with a rounder and richer mouthfeel. There’s plenty of acidity and this rosé is bone dry. The aromatic intensity, pretty, pale-salmon colour, fresh acidity and dry style add up to a cracking rosé.
