Last year the wild boar ate 50% of the crop in this lovely vineyard surrounded by cypress trees. This year Andy built an electic fence round it to protect his precious crop and picked his Syrah in perfect health. Following a gentle tank ferment the wine was aged in oak barrels for 10 months.

Inky colour, earthy and a touch minty with intense black fruit, fairly soft tannins: definitely full bodied, big and rich, combining savoury and sweet, very ripe fruit, altogether delicious.
