A pretty, deep-ruby core fading to a brick orange rim, aromas of dark fruit, wild strawberries and plums, on the palate elegant and refined with a supple texture, more ripe strawberries and plums, a little earthy and tarry, but, really, the fruit dominates more than the spicy notes. With a long finish marked by fresh acidity this is really charming.

From thirty year-old vines on clay-limestone soils, vinified in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks and aged in botte and barriques for 12-15 months
