Valduero Dos Racimos Gran Reserva 2012
100% Tempranillo from old (70 year old), high altitude, low yield vineyards (3,000 kg · ha). Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in 500L french oak barrels with native yeasts. Four years in woods of different origins and minimum 40 months in bottle. Selection of two bunches per vine. Production limited to 10,000 bottles per vintage and only produced in exceptional vintages. Garnet in colour, highly aromatic and perfumed with smoke, fig, and leather, fine, supple tannins, with full body, tremendous concentration and a very long finish.
