Valduero is one of the few Ribera del Duero making a white from an indigenous variety from the region, using 100% Albillo Mayor for theirs. From vines over twenty years old, it is fermented with native yeasts and aged on lees with bâtonnage. Pale straw in colour, slightly aromatic with notes of pineapple and grapefruit, medium bodied with pleasing lees-derived textural complexity, fresh on the palate with vibrant acidity.
