97% Syrah (clones including 1, 174, 470, Noir and Estrella); 2% Grenache; 1% Viognier. Co-fermented with a little Viognier to enhance the aromatics and intensify colour with a little whole cluster for spicy notes and mouthfeel. Aged for eleven months in neutral French oak barrels.

Dark purple in colour, ripe strawberry and vanilla aromas with a touch of roasted meat, on the palate lush and decadent with a touch of vanilla oak, juniper and black olive, balanced with fresh acid and spiced with rotundone black pepper notes.
