Pott Incubo 2019
Mostly Cabernet Sauvignon from the Châteauneuf du Pott vineyard on Mt Veeder. The style is fat and rich with deftly textured tannins, intense weight and a very long finish that lingers lengthily, passing from blackberry to violets to orange blossom, the aromatics and mid palate lifted by a very small percentage of Cabernet Franc.
“Deep garnet-purple colored, it springs from the glass with warm cassis, black cherries, blueberries and earth plus menthol and dark chocolate with cardamom. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, this has firm, fine-grained tannins and is lively with generous fruit, finishing long.” (Perrotti-Brown, The Wine Advocate, (95-97) points)
