Planet Oregon Pinot Noir 2017
As the name suggests, our planet and environment form the core of this wine’s concept. Tony Soter wants Planet Oregon Wines to embody the choice we all have to endorse and support sustainably produced wines. All the fruit used is certified sustainably farmed. It is represented by three vineyards that were all L.I.V.E. certified from growers that are Organic, Biodynamic, L.I.V.E. and Food Alliance certified, all of whom meet the Salmon Safe criteria in the process. The wine is made in a certified sustainable winery with carbon offset for all onsite production methods. $1 per bottle is pledged by the winery to the Oregon Environmental Council. And the wine happens to be delicious too, superb value, fresh, soft and silky, fruit-driven with cherries and berries of all kinds, for fairly immediate consumption.
