Pierre-Henri Morel Vacqueyras 2019
80% Grenache, 20% Mourvèdre grown on calcareous sandstone gravel/ clay terraces, hand-harvested, destemmed and fermented in concrete tanks cooled to 25°C to preserve varietal aromas as much as possible, gentle pumping over. Two thirds aged in concrete tanks for 12 months and one third in 600L “demi muid”.
A deep and bright purple colour, black cherry and blackberry aromas, rich and fresh on the palate with smoky notes, elegant tannins with a good, long finish and a touch of minerality.
