Kolfok Querschnitt Rosé 2020
“Just a tiny vineyard in my winery is planted with Pinot Noir, an anual production of approximately 1000L. It was planted in the late 80‘s on a chalky limestone slope, at the bizarrely named vineyard „hangman‘s hill“. The whole grapes were gently pressed and then fermented for a really long time (almost a year) in used 500L barrels, Austrian oak. It is almost like a blanc de noir and because of the long and cellar-cold fermentation the aromas are tight and quite reductive. Also a serious way to show that „Rosé“ may can reach high levels.”
