68% Merlot; 32% Cabernet Franc from four vineyard sites. Native fermentation, aged in 90% Darnajou, François Frères, Sylvain and Taransaud French oak barrels. Bottled after 20 months. Hudson describe this as a “velvet hammer”: plum and anise notes with distinctive leafy notes melding with the ripe black fruit, forward with silky tannins.
