100% Sangiovese matured for 24 months in lightly toasted tonneaux. Ruby red with a russet rim, aromas of wild strawberry and black cherry, lithe acidity, very fresh with red berries and cherries evolving beautifully into orange peel, tea-leaf and a hint of iron. Grainy, fine-textured tannins and a long finish.
