Aromas are earthy and meaty, texture is a little more granular, the fruit red rather than black with a distinctive savoury and black pepper character. Intense and concentrated.

From 40 year old vines on light, sandy and granitic soils on terraces facing south-southeast. 100% Syrah, 100% de-stemmed. Fermented in stainless steel for between 15 and 21 days and matured in barrel for 18 months.
