From the Santa Maria Valley of Santa Barbara. Aged for 15 months in 100% French Burgundy barrels, 40% new. A very dark, cherry-red colour and aromas of black plum, black cherry, blonde tobacco and peppermint. The entry is complex with balanced notes of fruit and roasted grains. Full bodied, yet delicate, with a long finish and fine-grained tannins. Lush, ripe, yet elegant and sophisticated.
