Fruit for the Sonoma Coast Chardonnay is sourced from several of Flowers's Sonoma Coast vineyards including Camp Meeting Ridge. The clonal blend is of Dijon and the low yielding Old Wente. 100% oak fermented and aged, 30% new. The wine spent 10 months in barrel.
Shows balanced depth and complexity, light straw to golden colour, aromas unfold with layers of lemon, apricot and stone minerality. This vintage shows crispness on the palate with a lush and balanced citrus finish. Shows beautifully now and will continue to improve over the next three or four years.
