Skinner Smithereens White 2017
Dominantly Grenache Blanc (37%) with Viognier (29%), Roussanne (26%) and Marsanne from a mixture of estate and locally sourced fruit, fermented with native yeasts and aged for 9 months in 77% neutral oak and 23% stainless steel. Aromatic with citrus peel and floral Viognier notes, on the palate relatively rich but finely balanced with bright acidity, flavours of tropical fruit and spice, moderately full-bodied and pleasingly textural. Appealingly fresh and vibrant with significantly long length. Nice label too.
