100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Only the Arlewood ‘A’ Block Wilyabrup Vineyard provides the fruit for this wine. It spends 24 months in tightly grained French oak barriques, and a further 24 months in bottle for all the elements to integrate prior to release.
Notes: Dense and concentrated. It opens up beautifully with air, revealing dark fruits, mocha and chocolate, classy oak and delicious soy/savoury flavours with an intriguing mineral depth. It’s also elegant and restrained, very long and savoury on the palate. It closes with trademark silky texture and fineacid structure. Drink now or cellar for up to 2020.
