La Spinetta Barbaresco Valeirano 2013

A very steep vineyard, the smallest of the three at 3 hectares, and the highest at 450m. 40-50 year old vines. Malolactic fermentation in oak, aged in new, medium toast French oak barrels  for 20 – 22 months. Defined red colour, intense perfume, articulate, yet profound aromas of fruit and spices, full development on the palate, well structured with firm tannins, yet impeccably balanced with a long, fine finish.
