Flowers Camp Meeting Ridge Pinot Noir 2013

Camp Meeting Ridge is the oldest of the Flowers vineyards. Calera and Swan clones comprise the core of this blend along with the distinguishing spice from the Dijon 115 and 777 vines.  All fruit rigorously hand sorted and fully de-stemmed with no crushing. Pre-fermentation cold soak4-5 days. Full native yeast primary fermentation. Matured for 15 months in French oak barrels, 55% new. Deep crimson-garnet in colour with bluish highlights on the rim. Fresh blueberry and elegant spice aromas of clove and mace are matched with flavours of blackberry, and dried cherry. Bright acidity and supple tannins are followed by a long, silky finish.
