André Perret St Joseph Blanc 2018
50% Marsanne and 50% Roussanne from 30 year old south/south-east facing vines on granitic soils with yields around 37 hl/ha. ⅔ fermented and matured in stainless steel, ⅓ in oak and matured for 12 months before bottling.
Aromas of honey, apricot and tropical fruit, on the palate this is rich, textured and opulent, the ripe, concentrated fruit evolving steadily into a long, savoury, honeyed finish. Absolutely fabulous.
