Agricola de Cadalso Sierra de Gredos Syrah 2018

From 20 year old bush vines at 700m of altitude grown in granite and sandy soils. All de-stemmed, fermented with indigenous yeasts in concrete vats, 15 days of maceration, matured 6 months in concrete.

Dark-coloured, very strawberry fruit with black pepper, grainy but supple tannins, good length and fresh acidity, mineral on the finish, really quite Northern Rhône in style with a surprisingly cool-climate character, peppery Syrah character. 13.5% alcohol.
