Martin’s Lane winery is one of the most radical Pinot Noir wineries in the world. Set in Kelowna, in the Okanagan Valley, it is a six-level gravity-fed winery carved within a steep hillside where extremely limited quantities exclusively of Pinot Noir & Riesling are produced.  Ancient volcanic and glacial soils settle amongst precipitous hillsides. The area is blessed with warm days, cool nights and the lowest rainfall and humidity of any wine-producing region. The unique combination of latitude and altitude conspire to yield a dramatic viticultural landscape which produces intense and balanced fruit.
 Shane Munn is winemaker and General Manager: intuitive & detail-obsessed, his winemaking experience from his native New Zealand to North America and Barolo, offers both breadth and depth to his thinking. “I see my challenge as capturing the amazing light and allowing each bottle to reflect our dynamic sites and seasons”, he says.
