Picked during the cool night and early morning hours and immediately de-stemmed and gently pressed into fermentation tanks. After seven to nine days of fermentation, racked into a combination of French, Hungarian and American oak for malolactic fermentation and twelve months of aging in a mixture of French, Hungarian & American oak barrels, 25% new.

Heady aromas of black cherry and spice lead to an elegant palate of wild blackberry and plum seasoned with a touch of black pepper sweet, toasty oak, with a plush mouthfeel and a long, velvety finish.
