Blue Farm · In 2001, viticulturist Anne Moller-Racke planted seven acres of Pinot Noir behind her Victorian farmhouse in Carneros, Sonoma.  She had arrived from Germany in 1981 and worked with legendary winemaker, André Tchelistcheff at Buena Vista. For the next three decades she farmed some of California’s most respected vineyards and also founded Donum Estate, building her reputation as one of California’s best Pinot Noir producers. In 1999, she purchased the property in southwest Sonoma that included the (blue) house, now her home, and a ten-acre plot of land that she planted with vines the following year. Blue Farm is now the sole focus of her winemaking efforts. We are tremendously impressed with the charm, elegance and finesse of her wines which simultaneously show the concentration and intensity we expect of the best producers of California.
