St Joseph Les Grisières Notes 100% Syrah. Very light, sandy and granitic soils are at the root of this wine, the vines aged on average around 40 years and facing south. Yields are at 35 hl/ha. Matured in barrel for 18 months. A deep crimson red colour in appearance, great concentration of black cherry and prune fruit, tannins very smooth, a wonderful velvety texture derived from the old vines and a hugely long finish.
