Trénel: Beaujolais. founded in 1928, with headquarters in Charnay-lès-Mâcon, Maison Trénel is one of the classic houses of the Beaujolais and produces seven of the ten Beaujolais Crus. Vineyards are prime and even the vines for their Beaujolais villages are between ten and sixty years old. In 2015 Trénel was taken over by Michel Chapoutier, under whose guidance the wines are reaching ever greater heights with ever greater attention devoted to emphasizing the differences between vineyard sites. The wines remain typified but a unique, supple, fragrant style.
