Winemaker Christian Tietje founded this multi-appellation Zinfandel producer in 1996 in a garage and surf shack. The Sonoma-based Purple Wine Company saw the wines’ potential and took over Four Vines in 2010. They are taking the wines a step further with refinement of vineyard sources, tweaking of blends, the addition of other varieties, and an emphasis in both winery and vineyards on sustainability and carbon footprint reduction. Vineyards are located in Santa Barbara, Lodi, Paso Robles (Central Coast) and Amador County (Sierra Foothills)
